Poisoned Dinner

It's been a long time since Evelyn has been able to play with her cousins and I was thrilled to get my nephew for an afternoon playdate. I was blown away at how well Evelyn and him played together. His speech is difficult to understand sometimes, but he's come so far! I was able to clearly hear almost everything! Of course, there is some toddler translation skill needed, but I have those!

Not a picture of my food, but same dish. See all the tomatoes?
It was an easy afternoon followed by a dinner date with friends. They got stuck at work and came an hour late but it wasn't a problem. I failed to keep my dinner at temperature, and I didn't know they were allergic to tomatoes (I made bruchetta chicken) but all the kids stayed up having a great time playing until 11pm!

And, my wonderful brother stopped by this evening to give us a car seat for Evelyn to use. I'm so lucky I have the best family in the world! And, the best friends!
