It's been a pretty great week. We've been busy enough that we haven't been able to have any melt downs and then today Mamaw wanted Evelyn which means I get a free weekend.Mom had to do some shopping at JC Penny's so we arranged to meet after Evelyn and I had breakfast. Her and I went back the waffle barn, the very first restaurant she ever went to, and she was so well behaved. I take it for granted sometimes but I've very lucky with how well my 2yo behaves in a restaurant.
We did some shopping at the mall and before we parted ways Evelyn got to pick out a brand new pillow for Mamaw's house. She was super excited about it.

This evening Cliff and I were able to escape to the Delta with the Stones for some divine ribs and outstanding company. We stayed too late but both Cliff and I got our baby fix keeping the baby happy in the heat.
